Braemar College is a private high school established in 1995 in downtown Toronto, near the University of Toronto.

The programs at Braemar College are designed to ensure that students recognize their academic, personal, and social potential. The school provides support for each student to help them gain admission to universities and colleges across North America, and in fact, around the world. Graduates from Braemar College continue their studies in the United States, the United Kingdom, and other countries.

  • Clear course options: Braemar students typically take two courses per term; Express Option students take three. This allows students to improve and stay motivated to meet university entry requirements 50% faster. For example, a student who has completed the equivalent of three years of high school and reached 12th-grade math and English levels can complete their senior year in at least five months.
  1. ACADEMIC PROGRAMS
  • High School Program: This program spans from grades 9 to 12, with the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) awarded upon graduation.
  • Summer School: This 6-week course (7 weeks with homestay) is for international high school students who want to experience short-term high school study in Canada. Eligible students can earn up to 2 high school credits during the summer term. Students can also extend their high school studies into the September intake.
  • Summer Elite Teen Program: This is a non-credit 4-week program (4 weeks with homestay) for international high school students who want to experience short-term high school study in Canada.
  • College/University Preparation Program: Braemar's college preparation program quickly guides students through the materials, while also qualifying them for many university programs and preparing them for success once they get there.

Braemar is affiliated with four major Canadian universities: University of Toronto, Ryerson University, University of Waterloo, and York University. Additionally, schools like St. Lawrence College and George Brown College are also partners.

Nearly 50% of Braemar graduates are accepted into top 100 universities globally, with a particularly large number of students transitioning to the University of Toronto (ranked 21st in the world).

  • Fast-Track Program: With 5 intake periods each year, this allows students to enroll or graduate 5 times annually. This means that students requiring fewer than eight credits can finish earlier than those attending schools offering only two terms per year.
