Canada Express Study (CES) Program Announcement in Vietnam

The pilot program will last for 18 months, after which it may be extended. The program not only prioritizes faster visa processing for students but also simplifies financial proof procedures compared to the usual process.

The participating colleges are members of the Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) Association – a national organization established voluntarily by member institutions, representing public colleges, institutes, CEGEPs, and research institutes in Canada and worldwide. To benefit from this program, Vietnamese students must be accepted by a college or institute that is a member of CICan to study full-time.

Additionally, students must provide proof of payment for tuition for one year, achieve a minimum IELTS score of 5.0, with no individual skill below 4.5 in the last two years, purchase a Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) from Scotiabank worth 10,000 CAD to cover living expenses for the first year in Canada. Furthermore, students must submit their visa application 60 days before the start of the program and undergo a medical examination at least one week before submitting the visa application.

The Canada Express Study program is supported by Scotiabank – the leading financial institution in Canada. Scotiabank agrees to provide students with the opportunity to obtain a Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC), meeting the financial proof requirement for the Canada Express Study program.
