Finland continues to attract a large number of young people due to its reasonable costs and high-quality education. Particularly, if you pass the entrance exam or submit your SAT scores, you have the chance to receive scholarships ranging from 50% to 100% of tuition fees or even an additional 7,000 euros for living expenses. As long as you meet the required number of credits each year, your scholarship will be maintained throughout your studies until graduation.
According to the latest report from the United Nations, Finland is ranked as the happiest country in the world due to its low corruption rates, progressive society, and reliable police and banking systems.
If you are looking for high-quality education with practical applications, Finland is the number one choice. In university teaching, students take tests after each course instead of having centralized exams like most European countries. This greatly reduces the pressure on students and allows for a more balanced learning experience.

Language Requirements
Most universities in Finland use two languages: English and Finnish. As mentioned, international students need to submit SAT or SAT 1, IELTS score of 6.5 or higher, or TOEFL score of at least 92.
However, some specific universities or departments may require a test of your Finnish language skills. Finnish is not a difficult language but requires persistence, practice, and dedication. If you can speak Finnish, your opportunities for staying and working in Finland will greatly expand.
Entrance Examination
To study in Finland, international students are required to participate in a mandatory entrance exam that consists of five parts: reading comprehension, essay writing, mathematics, IQ, and an interview. The total score is out of 100, with the maximum score for each section varying depending on the university and the program the student is applying for.
Financial Requirements
To prove your financial capability, you will need a bank statement, proof of monthly income, and some documents showing ownership of valuable assets such as a house, car, or real estate.
If you are not from the European Union, you must demonstrate a minimum balance of 6,720 euros (approximately 180 million VND) in your bank account, which is equivalent to one year of living expenses in Finland. If you do not have a bank account statement, you need to show a monthly income of at least 560 euros (approximately 15 million VND) from yourself or your family/guarantor for your stay in Finland.
