? Question: How long can I legally stay in Canada if I travel for tourism or visiting family?
! Answer: For regular tourist visas (excluding super visas), when you enter Canada, the customs officer will stamp your passport indicating the date by which you must leave. If no stamp is placed, the maximum legal stay is 6 months from the date of entry.

? Question: What should I do if I cannot leave Canada before my authorized stay expires?
! Answer: In this case, you need to apply for an extension of your stay in Canada to maintain your legal status. This should be done at least 30 days before your authorized stay expires.

? Question: I have applied for an extension, but my authorized stay has expired, and I have not yet received approval. What should I do?
! Answer: If you submitted your extension application before your authorized stay expired, you are still legally allowed to remain in Canada until a decision is made.
