Benefits:

Allows for a stay of up to 2 years per entry in Canada, compared to the regular tourist visa which only permits a maximum of 6 months.
Grants multiple entries over a period of up to 10 years.

Requirements:

The Super Visa is exclusively for parents or grandparents of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
Must demonstrate sufficient financial means to sponsor family members.
Mandatory health insurance coverage for the entire duration of the stay in Canada.
Medical examination is required.
