BCIT is one of the largest post-secondary institutions in British Columbia, Canada. It offers a range of long and short programs to provide certifications, diplomas, advanced studies, bachelor’s, and master’s degrees. BCIT has over 48,000 students enrolled annually. As of the 2018-2019 academic year, 248 students from Vietnam are studying at BCIT out of a total of 5,676 international students from over 90 countries worldwide.

The main campus of BCIT is located in Burnaby, just 20 minutes by train from downtown Vancouver. Burnaby is the third-largest city in Canada, known for its pleasant climate year-round, easy access to public transportation, and a convenient lifestyle.

INTAKE PERIODS

• September and January each year (Please note that BCIT programs usually close for applications earlier than the deadlines, so students should apply at least 4 months before the intake period.)

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• Completion of secondary school with at least a B grade.
• English proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or TOEFL iBT 86.
• If the English requirements are not met, students can attend the ISEP (International Student English Program), which offers 5 levels.
